DAY 2

Day 2 of Faith Convention could only be described as a progression of what God began at the Grand Opening. It substantiated how the Omnipotent God has something distinct for His children daily. It opened the eyes of congregants to tap into the imperceptible realm and lay hold on unseen resources.

By 6 pm, the 'Prayer Bulldozers' crammed the entire auditorium and church premises with all kinds of invocations. The stunningly adorned Ushers and Protocol Unit, in their red and white ensembles, added a touch of doll to the art of the Beautification Unit. By the time the anointed Overcomers minstrels glided the podium, the arena shrieked miracles. They ushered congregants to throw caution to the wind and danced their dismay away. 

A handful of recorded testimonies were shared and one young man shared a live testimony of God's goodness in his life. Unquestionably, Overcomers Nation Church is a house of testimonies!

Before the General Overseer mounted the podium, congregants had already enunciated some powerful faith-filled declarations; making them ready to receive from the Lord. As the bards sang out with their entire being, the General Overseer, Ps. Ebenezer Okronipa began his ministration. 

Continuing his message on "The Faith Life", he elucidated how Faith is a belief in the reality of the invisible.
Citing his Scriptural references from Psalm 119:130, Mark 5:29-30, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, 1Peter 1:7-9, and a host of other Scriptures, Ps. Eben revealed the two kinds of Faith; Humanistic faith and the God-kind of faith. The humanistic kind of faith walks by sensory perceptions, he defined. "But this kind of faith always fails" he indicated.
"To live by faith is to live with an awareness of this unseen world, which is filled with unseen personalities and unseen resources", and this is the God-kind of faith, Ps. Eben emphasized. He stressed the need for members to strive to live the faith life without which they'll not see the full manifestation of every prophetic word spoken over their lives. "Until you develop the necessary faith for your miracle, you'll think that your prophecy is a mirage", he noted.

In the course of his ministration, Ps. Eben steered congregants to look beyond the physical realm and create the manifestation of their expectations from the unseen world. 
 
The tangible presence of God was felt in the auditorium as one could perceive the unseen realm after Ps. Eben made it real for even children to understand and exercise their faith. 

It was such a joy to personally hear the testimony of one kid who received her healing during the ministration. She said; "before attending the service with my mom, my heart was paining me. But when Ps. Eben asked those trusting God for healing to place their hands on the affected parts, I put my hand on my chest. And as he prayed for us, the pain disappeared." This was the testimony of a girl of about 4 years old. Several people equally testified about how God had healed them in the course of the service. 

No doubt, Jesus is still in the miracle business. The atmosphere in the auditorium wheezed out supernatural manifestations. 

Ps. Eben ended his ministration by encouraging members to invite more people to also partake in the blessings God is unleashing on His children.

Day 2 of Faith Convention was inexplicably glorious. See you tonight at exactly 6:30pm for a life-transforming encounter with the Lord.
