Kingdom service is not a mere act to be engaged in as an addition to one's other life engagement. It is something to be pursued as a direct purpose of living and reason for existence. Ephesians 2:10

1. The purpose of creation is the service of God and His Kingdom. Colossians 1:16. Ephesians 1:9

2. God created man to serve Him. Genesis 1:26

3. The purpose of salvation and deliverance is to serve in His Kingdom. Exodus 9:1. Exodus 9:13. Exodus 4:22-23

4. The purpose of the anointing and the power of God is to serve God and His Kingdom. Job 1:6-8

5. The purpose of prosperity is Kingdom service. God honors and rewards those wo serve Him. 

Theme:  ENCOUNTERING SUPERNATURAL POWER THROUGH FASTING AND PRAYER

To encounter spirit power, you can engage in fasting and prayer. 

A Christian is supposed to inculcate fasting as part of his or her lifestyle. Mark 2:19-20

KINDS OF FAST

1. Supernatural fast. The Spirit of God coming upon an individual. Exodus 34:27-30

Matthew 4:1-2

2. Personal breakthrough fast. Esther 4:15. Nehemiah 1:4. Daniel 9:2-3. 

3. Proclaimed fast. Esther 4:16-17. Ezra 8:21. 2 Chronicles 20:2-3

Encounters are necessary for God's ordained purposes for our lives. 

Theme: DESTINY ACTIVATION

Destiny talks about God's ordained purpose for your life.

Theme: THE HONOR OF A FATHER

What does it mean to honor?

1. To honor means to notice the person. 

2. To give attention because that person is worth it. 

3. To dishonor is to disregard and to neglect the person.

They provide a spiritual covering

They are a source of lives

They are determinants of many things

They are a blessing when you honor and terrible when you dishonor them. Genesis 49:1-7

TWO TYPES OF FATHERS

1. Physical fathers; biological, adopted(assumed), providential father, circumstantial 

2. Spiritual father. 2 Kings 2:9-12. Deuteronomy 34:9. Luke 24:50-51

THREE WAYS TO HONOR A FATHER

1. Recognize them (publicly). Leviticus 19:32

2. Obey their instructions. Proverbs 4:1

3. Give them precious gifts. Malachi 1:6-8

WHAT IF FAITHFULNESS?

1. Faithfulness is about effective discharge of your assignments or your duties. 

2. Ability to remain steadfastly at the assignment until it is done. 

Hebrews 3:1-6

Jesus was faithful

Moses was faithful

Elisha was faithful. 2 Kings 3:11

Ruth was faithful. Ruth 1:14

Faithfulness always rewards and unfaithfulness causes you to lose your place.

Chronos : general time, automatic time, keeps moving no matter what.

Kairos: time of manifestation within the general time

Psalm 102:13

¹³ Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

WHAT TO DO?

1. You must know that there is something great in you. Philemon 1:6

2. You must walk in anticipation and desire. Mark 11:24

3. You must connect to the Holy Ghost for revelation. Genesis 28:11-16. Genesis 37:5

4. Activate by making prophetic decrees and faith proclamations. Ecclesiastes 11:3. Psalm 105:19.

Fasting is a part of Christianity. 

Fasting refers to abstinence, staying away from natural things so that we can give attention to God for a period of time. Psalm 35:13. 2 Samuel 125:16-17

You cannot fulfill your assignment on this earth if you do not know how to fast. Fasting must be a conscious thing you do to the Lord. Matthew 23:12

SIX BENEFITS OF FASTING. 

1. It subdues the flesh. 1 Corinthians 9:27

2. It brings us into fellowship with God. 2 Corinthians 6:5, 11:27

3. You hear from God. Acts 13:2

4. It activates great spiritual power. Luke 4:1-2,14

5. It drives away doubt and unbelief for faith to operate. Mark 17:20-21

6. It turns difficult situations around. Esther 4:15-16

WHAT MUST YOU GIVE?

1. Give yourself

2. Give your substance. 2 Corinthians 8:1-5

AVENUES OF GIVING THAT OPEN DOORS

1. First fruit. Proverbs 3:9-10.

2. Tithe. Malachi 3:9-10

3. Kingdom promotion. Mark 10:28-30

4. The prophet's seed. 2 Chronicles 20:20

5. Giving to the poor. Leviticus 19:9-10

 

HOW TO GIVE?

1. Give God first. 1 Kings 17:13

2. Give willingly.

3. Give in faith. Hebrews 11:17

4. Give celebrating for the opportunity to give. 2 Corinthians 9:7

 

Theme: ENGAGING THE POWER OF PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING FOR SUPERNATURAL OPEN DOORS

Revelation 3:7

 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

The key of David is the  key of praise.

Thanksgiving is ascribing all the glory to God for all His deeds and works in our lives. 

Psalm 103:1-5. 

Real praise is you speaking to yourself.

Psalm 34:1. Thanksgiving must be a part of us everyday. 

Psalm 116:12. It is a debt we owe God. 

DOORS THAT PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING OPENS

1. Door to the presence of God. Psalm 100:1-4

2. Praise opens prison doors. Acts 16:25-26

3. It supplies doors. John 5:13

4. Multiplication doors. Jeremiah 30:19

5. Doors to life. 

Worship must be;

From the heart

With understanding

In spirit and in truth

Be in humility
