 So he answered and said to me:

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:‘ Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.
⁷ ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” 

Mountains are difficult situations, problems and obstacles that prevent our moving forward. Our faith is what removes mountains. 

Until you are connected to divinity humanity will be deprived of potentiality. The full potential of man is with God. 

The greatest of strength is available to the one who depends on the Spirit of God. 

The Spirit of God is also the Spirit of achievement.

The promises of God are God's word of commitment to the people of His love. 

They form the foundation of the believer's faith. Joshua 1:8. Romans 10:17

TEN PROMISES OF GOD

1. Promise of rest. Matthew 11:28-30

2. Promise to take care of all our needs. Philippians 4:19

3. Promise to answer our prayers. Matthew 7:7

4. Promise to make everything work for our good. Romans 8:28

5. Promise to be with us. Joshua 1:5,9

6. Promise of protection. Psalm 91:2

Obadiah 1:17

¹⁷ But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

1. To possess your possessions, you must undergo salvation, deliverance and sanctification (holiness)

2. Every Christian is entitled to a divine inheritance in Christ. Acts 20:32. Sanctification in Christ is a position and also a process. 2 Corinthians 3:18. Everywhere you see a promise in the Bible, it is an inheritance.

3. Lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6

Theme: OPEN HEAVENS

There are three Heavens. The first, second and third.

The third Heaven is where God dwells and also where our glory and victory comes from. Mark 1:9. Genesis 1:1. 2 Corinthians 12:2

WHEN YOUR HEAVENS ARE OPENED?

1. You hear the voice of God. 

2. Angelic ministrations. Angels are messengers that carry the purpose of God to us. 

3. Spiritual empowerment and transformation. 

4. Prosperity. Malachi 3:10-12

 

HOW TO OPEN THE HEAVENS?

1. Fasting and Prayer. Have a constant prayer life. Luke 3:21-22. 

2. Giving. Haggai 1:1-11

3. When you stand for Jesus against oppositions. 

4. Prophetic interventions. 1Kings 18:44-45

5. Soul winning. Proverbs 11:30. God wants us to live a life where we are helping people to know Him more.

2 Peter 1:1-4

4. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Every child of God has received exceeding great and precious promises. Without the word of God you cannot have faith. 

WHAT ARE THE PROMISES OF GOD?

1. They are the assurances Gid gives to His covenanted children of His abiding goodness if they remain faithful to the terms of the covenant. Deuteronomy 28:1-2

2. They are God's word of His commitment to His people of His love. A promise is a vow. The only things that binds God with us is His word. 

God is not just a speaker, but a performer. 

The Seed of Abraham

1. The Physical seed (Israelites)

2. The Spiritual seed (Church) Galatians 3:16

When there is a promise on your life and you are aware of the promise, you become dangerous as a child of God. 

Theme: THE MYSTERY OF IMPARTATION OF GRACE

You must learn to walk in another grace. Luke 1:13,17. John 4:37-38

Grace is the endowment of God that causes signs and wonders to manifest. 

Grace is also a person. John 1:14-16

The greatness of your destiny is a function of grace. Grace comes for great works. 1 Corinthians 15:10

You need a heart of humility to receive grace. James 4:6. Philippians 1:17. Romans 1:11

HOW TO PARTAKE IN GRACE?

Only true sons are entitled to receive an inheritance. 

1. You must see the prophet as a Father. 2 Kings 13:14.

2. Heart to heart connection. Proverbs 27:19

3. Honor the carrier of the grace. 

a. Recognize the person as who God has called him to be. 

b. Sow into their lives. Genesis 27:1-14

c. Follow him through his messages. Ezekiel 2:2

d. Be hungry for more. Matthew 5:6

e. Live a sanctified life. Obadiah 1:17

f. Connect by humility. James 4:6

Jesus is the one who forgives our sins.

He changes our identity

Things that Jesus came to give us

1. He came to forgive our sins. 2 Corinthians 5:19-21

2. He gives us Zoe; the God kind of life John 3:15-17. 1 John 5:11

3. He came to bring us prosperity. Luke 4:18

Theme: JESUS THE GOODNESS OF GOD

The real definition of goodness is God Himself. 

Jesus is the very image of the invisible God. Colossians 1:15-19

He is the display of divinity in the form of humanity. He demonstrated God's desire to pour out blessings to help and bring deliverance to us. 

PROOF OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD

1. He took the judgement that our sins deserve unto Himself. Romans 5:8. 

2. He gives us access to a thousand and million other blessings. Romans 8:32. 1 Corinthians 1:20

RESPONDS WE MUST GIVE TO THE GOODNESS OF GOD. 

1. Repent of unbelief and ingratitude. Romans 2:4. 

2. Rest in His goodness

3. Step out in faith. Be bold to take certain steps.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His ^[a]mercy endures forever.

God is good. The goodness of God will give you what others think you do not -deserve. 

The goodness of God gives a testimony which surprises others.
